Puha added on the topic of sequels regarding their upcoming title, “We’ve got nothing against sequels, so definitely Control is something that we want to be working on in the future. Puha also added along those lines that they want to make a sequel, it’s not something the devs want to shelf, but actually making it happen is not “as simple” as simply making it. The bright side is that it doesn’t look shelved completely, but if we ever do get a sequel – it will be a long way off before we ever get to see it.
According to Remedy’s director of communications, Thomas Puha, “We were working on Alan Wake 2 years ago and it just didn’t pan out, so there’s nothing - we’re just booked solid for the next couple of years, really.” While the team over at Remedy are hard at work on Control, many Alan Wake fans are wondering just what the heck is going on with the sequel?
